Jiayu Li is a third-year graduate in Applied Math (PACM) at Princeton. She joined Levin lab Fall 2023. Before that, she graduated from UCLA with a B.S. in Applied Math and Computational and Systems Biology. She's interested in collective behavior and spatial pattern formation. Her current research includes exploring how the awareness of infectious disease affects the disease transmission, investigating the evolution of cooperation in complex population structure, and understanding how the competition among neighboring plants shapes the spatial pattern of the plant community.
