Bio/Description

Aditya Biswas is a junior in the mathematics department at Princeton University. He is a member of the Behrman Undergraduate Society of Fellows and is pursuing minors in Quantitative and Computational Biology, Computer Science, Applied and Computational Mathematics, and Humanistic Studies. His research interests lie at the intersection of mathematics, physics, biology, and computer science, looking at how physics-informed mathematical models and simulations of dynamical systems can be applied to biological systems in order to inform policy design and implementation. He previously worked on acoustic lens design using wave propagation simulation as a focused ultrasound foundation global research intern and invasive weed propagation models at Georgetown University. In his free time, Aditya reads and dabbles in a variety of martial arts, including taekwondo and tai chi. He is also a passionate violinist and member of the Princeton University Sinfonia.
